Sexual Assault Service

Provided by Vancouver Coastal Health

Provides care to anyone 13 years or older who has been sexually assaulted within the past 7 days.
If you have been sexually assaulted within the past 7 days:

Please call 911 or go directly to one of these hospitals:
Vancouver General Hospital's (VGH) emergency department (24 hours) 920 West 10th Avenue (near Broadway and Oak) OR UBC Hospital emergency department Koerner Pavilion, 2211 Wesbrook Mall (open 8 AM to 8 PM).

Children and youth who have been sexually assaulted in the last 7 days:

If you are 17 or older, please call 911, or go to either VGH emergency department (open 24h) or UBC emergency department (open 8 AM to 8 PM).

If you are 13, 14, 15 or 16 years old, please call 911 or go to either VGH emergency department (open 24h)or BC Children’s Hospital emergency (open 24h)

If you are 12 or younger, please call 911 or go to BC Children’s Hospital emergency department.

Our team of examiners are on-call 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
