Harm Reduction Services - Campbell River
Addictions / Substance Use, Condition Specific Support, Indigenous Services, and Sexual Health
Provided by AVI Health and Community Services
Provides various harm reduction services to reduce risk to people who use substances.
The following services are offered:
- Distribution of harm reduction supplies; injecting and inhalation supplies
- Indigenous specific supports and outreach
- Drug checking on site
- Naloxone distribution and training
- Safer sex resources
- Harm reduction education
- Weekly outreach support from Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction
- Public Health Nurse on site weekly
